DEFINITION OF E-CCOMERCE

It is also called 'Electronic Commerce', it is the trade of services or goods on the internet, there are many  companies that sells products every day to different parts of the world, but there are also people that use ecommerce as their main strategy to engage with people they can use physical stores or other type of channel to sell their products.

The huge advantage of ecommerce is that allows small business, or even well known companies to sell and to reach their costumers across the world just by using a webpage and of course having internet connection, also the second advantage is that you can use their service 24 hours every day without the need to go out and try the product by your own which for some people could be a very important disadvantage. 

"A sales channel that crosses all industries that sell or promote brand awareness online and is considered a sales channel and part of a businesses" Acording to (International Trade Administration, 2019).

What is an eCommerce Marketplace?

It is a third party website that allows the vendor websites as they were online storefronts and transactions are processed by the marketplace. It  is consider as a section of eCommerce sales.

What is an eCommerce Platform ?

Softwares technologies that are integrated on a business page and allows them to solicit different services as products and then make a sale.
