E-commerce website design programming languages definitions

HTML (Hypertext Markup Language)
It is a set of symbols or codes inserted into a file intended for display on the internet. The markup tells web browsers how to display a webpage's words and images, which would be between "<" and ">" referred to element, althought many people refer to as tag. Most of the elements come in pairs that indicate then it has been display acording to (Investopedia, 2022)

CSS (Cascading Style Sheets)
Is used to define a style and layout webpages, for example it is the painting of the house. Makes the place much confy and good looking, Comes through and specifies the document style for example page layouts, colors, and fonts are determined with CSS syntax, meaning that CSS is important language for any website.

JavaScript (Script Language)
It is a script language for creating dynamic and functionality to the web page content, it creates elements for improving site interaction with the user such as menus, animations, multimedia and adding life to the website, it is like a lift for a building it adds funcitonality to the building.

Python (Script Language)
Python is a computer programming language most of the time used to build websites and softwares, a good thing about Python is that is a multi-porpuse language meaning that it can be used for different programs and it not focus on only one, This adds versatility along with the beginner friendly sintax had made one of the most used programs these days. 

Ruby (Script Language)
Ruby is mainly used for web applications it is widely used for building servers and data processing like web scraping and crawling, the feature they have is general porpuse, object-oriented programming language that runs on Mac, Windows and Unix most operating systems out there.

Internet Website Cookies (Piece of data stored within a web browser)
Are small texts files that contains information or data that identifies the device to the network, when a website is visited it gives the browser a cookie to store in a cookie file that it is place on your browser folder therefore the next time you visit the website the browser will give back the cookie to identify you. A simple example of cookie is when you open a website and your username and passwords are autofilled.

UI (User Interface)
It is the point of contact between the computer and the human any technology you interact with as a user part for example the screen, the sound, the style, and all elements displayed that you can have an indirect contact, a user experience involves the most important part when dealing with a program or a website. 

Page Source (HTML code)
In simple words is the "Behind the scenes" of every webpage on the internet it is also called the "guts" of the webpage because it has all the HTML tags typed by the author and interpreted by the browser to produce what you see in your screen.

Meta Tags (A page content)
Are fragments of text that describes a page content, these meta tags do not appear on the page itself just only on the source code, that is why is not always visible for everyone. Meta tags are essential for the description of your content that allows the search engine to identify what your page is about.

Jquery (Script Language)
Small library crossplatform that supports different types of browsers, it is also referred as "write less do more" Because you can easily get access to thousands of lines of JavaScript code to accomplish your needs, it is also useful to simplify  complicated things.

Hyperlinks (Digital Reference)
Known as link and weblink, it is a text that links to another file or website therefore allows to connect to other sources without them just to know the URL is needed.
