 INVENTION OF WWW

Tim Berners-Lee wrote the first proposal of World Wide Web in 1989, this outline the principal concepts and define of what we know as internet in today. He was born in London and his parents were computer scientists, after graduating from Oxford University, Berners become a software engineer at CERN, the first idea of the web was originally for sharing information between scientists in universities and institutes all over the world.

The first project of World Wide Web was hosted on Berners-lee's computer then on 30 April 1993 was put in public domain 

 By october of 1990 Tim wrote the three fundamental technologies that remain the foundation of today's web:

  • HTML: Hypertext Markup Language 
  • URI: Uniform Resource Identifier 
  • HTTP: Hypertext Transfer Protocol

INVENTION OF E-COMMERCE

Companies have used computer networks to conduct bussiness since as far back as the 60's, in the 1979 the english inventor Michael Aldrich introduced and pioneered what would eventually become known as eCommerce by connecting television and telephone lines.

Aldrich thought the idea while walking with his wife, therefore he invented a system that advertised goods and services on television, giving viewers the ability to call in to a processing center to place orders.
