Alt Tags

The main porpuse of an Alt Tag is to ensure that all the images have an specific altenative name, this means that if you add an image of an hamburguer you should also mention that is an hamburguer on the alt tag this wil ease the screen readers for people with no sight, Alt tags solve this problem providing a better text for each picture readed also by the search engine. Search engines emphasie on the content of the alt tags for this reason should be represented as high value.

Google and different search engines will index the picture along with the content on the page therefore the image will help to raise the relevance of the page, however the alt tag also impact whether and how the picture shows on Google's search vertical (goup, 2020)

Title Tags 

This tag is the most important one without hesitation, this is because is the central element for search engine optimization, one of the most commonly used to modify and optimize the SEO, if there is any HTML tag using Title tag is the first thing you need to do, basically the title tag name the website and tells the SEO what is it,

Every page that you see on the internet has a title tag, but this tag appears on the headline on SEO results page. Therefore whatever you put on the in the title tag will end on the top of the browser or on any tab that you will open, the title is also what will appear when someone chooses to share the website on any social media, this makes the title tag the crucial part for SEO to work properly on benefit for your eCommerce website (Bigcommerce, 2019)

  • It helps the website to target specific keywords on SERPs
